I had done a few shows with Mickey Gilley and then I ran into him at a country music event in Nashville. He invited me to sing a few duets with him at a show in Massachusetts. Who could turn down an invitiation like that? We rehearsed on his bus and that is when I discovered that the door let people on the bus, but not off. All Mickey would say about that was, "Heh, heh, heh!"
